Addicted To Quack Q&A on SoCalSportsHub.com
I recently did a Q&A with the guys over at SoCalSportsHub regarding my feelings on the upcoming season. Topics include Masoli, Blount, the defense, and Oregon's recruiting stature.

I basically agree
Though our secondary (at least, the kids who aren’t named Walter) I think could be a big hole in the D. Emphasis on could.
Addicted To Quack [dot] com; Good luck in the WNBA, Kamyron!
Ward???
He is a known quantity. And finally we are going to pair him with someone else that doesn’t want to play in the box. Of course, I am hoping that Glasper can finally live up to the hype. Here’s to hoping though.
I liked the article. It was pretty much in line with all my sentiments going into the season.
Oregon may have unprecedented talent and depth at linebacker AND a newly energized defensive line who will be aggressive and run to the ball every play or get benched. Stopping the run should still be Aliotti’s forte, though this season he may finally get it done strictly with the front seven. That should leave the secondary to focus more on their coverage assignments and less on ball fakes in the backfield.
I don’t think our DBs get caught cheating to support the run near as much as they did last season, regardless of the personnel.
I'm really tired of it not being football season.
Nice job!
Jared,
All moronic posters at OregonLive, ESPN, et al, who slam the Duck fan base as myopic and all foolhardy Duck fans who quack on and on about “Oregon the new national powerhouse”, blah, blah, blah, should study your comments. You admirably expressed the opinion held by probably 95% of us Duck fans, who have a pragmatic view of how the Ducks may perform in 2009.
Way to represent.
Kudos to Joey Kaufman for doing a SoCal-centric piece on the Ducks without going to Phil Knight, Nike or the uniforms.

Thanks for the kind words
I think a lot of us – even non-Oregon fans – get a little tired of the same old nike/uniform debate that is routinely brought up by ESPN. There isn’t much to say except that UO has a very big donor in Phil Knight just like Oklahoma State has the same in Boone T. Pikens. So, there is nothing really that special now that the story has been endlessly covered. There is no real news about. Nothing recent at least.
And as for the uniforms, UO likes to change them a lot. Okay, I get. Some look good some don’t. But who cares. If recruits like them, then that’s enough for anybody. Generally, the people who simply discuss uniforms are the people who don’t know anything about Oregon or the Pac-10 so they pick the easy way and talk about nothing.
I tried to avoid the senseless uni chatter and focus on substance. I’m glad you guys liked it. Hopefully, we can do more of these in the future. Maybe during the season or what not.
