Wondering about Blount's fitness level?
Feast your eyes on this...I saw this floating around the web and figured it was fanpost worthy for all ATQ'rs to enjoy.
Lagarrette Blount preps for Boise State (via Wildchubby91)
I think we can put to bed any questions about Blount's level of dedication. Can Blount be the feature back? I am not too worried with the emergence of LMJ in fall camp. With this kind of power and "le backfield" that will include the quickest feet in the FBS, teams are not going to be able to game plan our rushing attack for a third straight year. No wonder the Lattimore's of the world are giving us serious consideration. Our offensive line by all account is run blocking well. We just need them to protect Masoli in the pocket.

He stiff-armed a direct tackle… Before the BSU game, can someone tell him that will create arthritis when he gets older?

looks like he learned a thing or two from JJ’s Stiff Arm Summer Camp and applied it to his Mack Truck frame
Money issues...
Also, could some1 tell him that our players are limited to 1 facemask a year… this whole economy thing is hitting us hard. If he could please refrain from that for the BSU game it could save us a lot of trouble with equipment. Thank you.
Question: What if the 1 trying to tackle him was taylor mays? Maybe someone could set that up… say… on halloween?

if i remember right
taylor mays plays for usc, not a team from the wac
but i’m sure he’ll be happy to offer arm, shoulder, or maybe just jump over your midgets, whatever you prefer

Versus announcers are so dumb
Addicted To Quack [dot] com; Six-hundred and ninety-four yards of total offense.
That pisses me off so much. 3rd and 19 with less than a minute to go.
All game long we put ourselves in good positions to get the ball back and gave up huge 3rd downs. That happened at least 5 times that I can remember. Pathetic

could you describe each of the 5 times in great detail?
youtube posts would be sufficient, if you don’t have the time

Indeed. Or even a fanpost describing your emotional response as they happened. It would be intriguing.

I have tried writing one up
But I just get so angry that I can never finish it without going on a rant.
I will try to compose myself and write something up when I have some free time

Seriously though
I must have started at least 4 about the game. They are usually when I’m A) inebriated (Quinn that means drunk) or B) Blue balled up— herego, not happy writings

VD, BtD and AtQ should sit down and rewatch the entire game, all the while commenting in an enormous running diary.

joint podcast anyone…?
All kidding aside, getting the raw emotion in the heat of battle is always best. EDSBS did a live podcast during the Holiday Bowl, and it was classic, and titled, The Alcoholocast..

warning soccer comment
on of the best shows on fox soccer channel is when they have to die hards for the opposing teams commentate on the match. The only bad thing is you have no idea what they are saying. But the idea is rock solid. There is equal parts trying to be a good color guy and screaming and ranting at the other team. I am all for this.

I'd be down for that in the next coming Civil War.

don't be too hard on yourself
ranting, whining, lamenting – all totally acceptable
as Jshu states, i don’t think we’re seeking finesse or politesse, it’s really the full reality of the emotions we’re interested in – raw, unedited, real
pardon me if I’ve misinterpreted, Jshu, please correct me dear sir if need be.

sorry to belabor the previous point
i just watched blount run through our dude like he was a light eastern breeze again, followed by that JJ highlight from Jshuflet about six or seven times, and my bloodlust has been temporarily satiated.
i will now retire to the coffin for a quick nap, followed some routine night prowling.
translation: sorry to belabor the trash talk, have a good one.

Which pissed you off more? The aforementioned run?
Or this?
Or maybe this?

hands of stone, ha ha
true dat
now i’m picturing Jwill like “The Thing” from Fantastic Four, reaching up to catch footballs and batting them hundreds of miles away with his rock paws.

I would be more pissed
at JJ’s 200 yards in the 1st half…
May we hand you your taints on a silver platter...
that one is old enough i can't remember it
but last year’s picks are really vivid in my memory, just sitting right there, just like it was yesterday.
