Media Wednesday - Warding Off Pass Completions
Welcome to Media Wednesday this week. We're doing season previews this week so I finally get the chance to plug one of my favorite plays from 2008. Everyone remembers the hit on Zac Robinson in the Holiday Bowl, but this play by TJ Ward sticks out as the play that started it all. He had some good hits and plays before this, but this hit was the one that made everyone think "wow, TJ Ward can really pop guys". Kevin Riley took a shot too during the play which made it all the more fun.

What I love is that TJ Ward knows how to give a good smackdown legally. It makes me smile.

Definitely.
The guy doesn’t need to resort to spearing and shit. I’ve always admired this about the kid. Good kid who loves to lay the wood fair and square.
Addicted To Quack [dot] com; Six-hundred and ninety-four yards of total offense.
The Robinson hit is my favorite
Because the play didn’t even count because OK St. was guilty of holding.

on players leaving games for good after taking a hit from TJ Ward…1.5? or is that too low?
thats about right
I know its a video game, but its all we have until tomorrow, but in NCAA I shake up guys every third hit or so with him. So fun to line up a hit stick and see the injury screen pop up
