Good Omen or Great Omen?
For the last few year Takimoto and I have been sharing good omens before football games. So why limit all the Good Omens, so many out there we could be missing without the help of ATQ. So ill share some of mine so far and everyone should pitch in some good omens to get our Karma right for a bronco whoopin.
Great Omen:
My roommates birthday is tomorrow and she was born at 7:15, can you think of a better way to celebrate.
Good Omen:
Sorting glasses today at work, clean in the green racks and dirty into the blue. Realized after an hour what I did, good work me.
Parked for 6 hours in the two hour zone and didn't get a ticket.
Jump on board with some more if you want, or just laugh at me. Go Ducks!

Think karma doesn't apply?
Last week while driving downtown I got stopped in a Eugene Fire Dept. boot fund-raising drive. I only had a $20 in my pocket, so I emptied about four bucks of change out of my ash tray. Not five minutes later I pulled into Dutch Bros. for a 20 oz.‘er, which they gave me free with a smile because they didn’t have enough change for my $20.
Thank you, 8 pound 6 ounce new born infant Jesus.

I went out to walk Willis the Bruce this evening.
Looked up at the sky, never had seen one like it. I didn’t know what it meant but I heard ‘good omen’ in my heart. The dusk was approaching, the sky still light blue but hundreds of small puffy little clouds covered most of the sky. All over the place.
I don’t know, maybe it’s the medication. I hurt/dull throb and yet, fuck that. I certainly want for our boys to feel the love. I love Duck football players, Chip and all the coaches, support staff and AtQ. Thanx for the post

All my good omens today
-My iPod miraculously recharged itself last night.
-My flight to Boise arrived 20 minutes early
-The Boise airport McDonald’s has Dr. Pepper instead of Mr. Pibb
-There is a big compass on the floor of the Boise airport. The direction directly below Oregon? W.
-The Giants beat the Phillies, and when it rains it pours.

rec'd for Dr Pepper comment.
Mr Pibb is an knock off of Dr Pepper, it is a cheap knock off too. The dude didn’t even get his degree, why did you have to drop out of school so early to start making soda. – Mitch Hedberg

Thinking really right now 0-12 come on husky fan… Fast forward 4 or so days i see the flag up again but this time around someone had spray painted 0-12 on it. I coudnt help but smile for the rest of the day =)

I was DJ'ing a wedding this past weekend
The bride and groom wanted to walk back up the aisle to Mighty Oregon… (cool couple!)
Later on during the reception, I was playing a song directly from iTunes (which I don’t normally do) and the song finished only to start on the next song which happened to be Mighty Oregon. Best mistake I have ever made!
May we hand you your taints on a silver platter...

I got a new radio, but I had no time to install it myself. I got some place to install it for $40, and someone else to by my old stock for $50.
I made money by not installing it.

this is true
Last night I dreamt I was at the game. The ducks were winning in the first half but my dream didn’t make it past halftime. You see, somehow a pterodactyl entered the picture. It was friendly at first. Children were playing on it and people were taking pictures. Then all of the sudden it took off with about a dozen kids on its back and flew away. Mothers and parents were screaming in horror. The event was so traumatic that the refs called the game.
Soooo I predict that the ducks (also winged creatures) steal this one.

Oh just thought of a good one
Last weekend I was visiting the bay. At a bar I was wearing a Duck hat and some random guy approached me with a Go Ducks. He asked me about the ducks and it turns out it was Todd Doxey’s cousin. He asked if I knew and liked Todd, I told him every duck LOVES Todd. Great moment.

A coup in progress
Omen or no, this is good.
My parents are from Eugene but live in Boy-C and I have uncles and aunts visiting for them for game. They are all wearing their Oregon gear (including the Oregon Cowboy hat they made last year for the game) and getting a tour of Boy-C and continuously run into “secret” Duck fans who live there. A cashier at the Fred Meyers even pulled his pants down to show his Oregon shorts he was wearing underneath. I smell a coup d’état in progress, when the home city isn’t even all fans.
