Media Wednesday - Samie the Speedster Causes Trouble

Samie Parker is one of my favorite ducks from yesteryear and in searching for a media wednesday clip for this week, I just couldn't pass this one up. Pure speed as he just runs out and catches the 79-yard bomb from Joey Harrington to take the lead on the Colorado Buffaloes in the 2002 Fiesta Bowl. Parker had a big day, catching 9 balls for 162 yards and this score.

Was Samie even running hard on that one? The CB would have had to be playing 25 yards off the line to even have a chance at that ball. It wasn’t like he made a hard move or anything. He was just, “I’m going to go ahead and run fast. I’ll see you later.”
