ATQ Should Find The Video From ESPNU and Send To Chip Kelly
So I was up early Saturday morning, when Robert Smith was on ESPNU talking about the Ducks, and eventually the subject about the defense came up. Robert Smith said this," Oregon's defense will be exposed and that it's a complete fraud". He also went on to say that Oregon has a 20% chance to run the table and that "Oregon's D has been living on big plays and that they can't continue to do that". Anyone else see that Saturday morning on ESPNU??
I think some smart person from the ATQ Nation should find the video and send it to Chip Kelly so that he may use the video as motivation. Leave it to a former Ohio St. Buckeye like Smith to give good analysis about Oregon. He also was saying that USC is going to pick Oregon's D apart and that he "Just wasn't ready to pick Oregon over USC".
Sounds like to me that Robert Smith and John Canzano are reading off the same page. Anyone see John Canzano's column Friday? Pretty much said that the Ducks still haven't proven to him if they're NC quality and that USC will be the true test for him.
My question is this? What will it take? I have watched a lot of football in my time and have been a Duck fan pretty much all my life, and I just don't recall EVER seeing a more complete game played like I saw Thursday night. The Ducks have just destroyed the competition and have an Offensive (and Defensive) machine that I just don't see being stopped right now. Am I just drinking the Kool-Aid? Dissing the Ducks to me is like dissing one of my family members.
When Rick Nueheisel was on the Bald Face Truth with John Canzano, he alluded to the Oregon's offense as a gimmick and that somebody will " figure it out". Chip Kelly took exception to that, and went out and dropped 60 points down on UCLA. So, again, I'm thinking that if Chip ever got a hold of the comments made by Robert Smith, he would pretty much use that as total motivation. What do you all think?
