I'm not sure if it's dirty or not

It looked dirty at first but after a few times seeing it, it looked like he was leading with his shoulder to me. Anyways, it’s freaking awesome to see hits like this from him again! I miss this so much, nothing got me fired up like T.J. Ward crushing some hapless player. When I first saw this on Sportsnation I screamed HELL YEAH! and my brother was like damn who is that? He’s so strong and powerful, no matter how hard Eddie Pleasant hits I don’t think he, or any other current Duck could match T.J.

Looks dirty at full speed, but the replay shows that he lead with his shoulder and the helmet-to-helmet contact was simply because his head is right next to his shoulder

It’s pretty cool that someone can go from being a walk-on to playing at this level.

He was injured his senior season so he was looked over by the recruiting sites. He was garnering a lot of buzz his Junior year and by most accounts I’ve seen he would have been a 3 or 4 star recruit had he played his senior season.
