Chip Kelly may not believe in jinxes but after  TCU, Auburn and Oregon graced the latest cover,  consider this:

1. TCU, at HOME mind you, barely scrapes by mountain west floor mat SDSU (which happens to be an okay team & my alma mater... still).  This could cost them a potential berth in the NC game.

2. Auburn beats Georgia, but Cecil Newton admits to soliciting money from MSU and seriously jeopardizes his son's eligibility, not to mention Auburn's season and potential national championship run.

3. Oregon plays the ugliest game of the year by far against subpar Cal (and Pete Fuckface is killing us over on CFN).  Wax idiotic all you want about how great Cal's D is, but they've been owned by some pretty subpar teams this year.

Personally - I think this confirms, at the very least, a loose correlation between the cover of SI and a "jinx" or "curse" if you will.  What say you?
