I was thinking about this...

A2Q should set up a paypal account for Duck Fans to donate to. At the end of the year we could buy chicken statues with a plaque on them reading something like “ATQ Coward Award.” Then, we can find the home addresses of the players who took a dive this year and ship them out just in time for the holidays!

Watch the 35 second mark

It looks like Carson York is calling him out in front of an official and Bo Thran is telling him to to cool it. Funny stuff.

It’s fairly obvious to me what happened there, but then again, I wear green and yellow glasses.

Hilarious

A Duck fan pointing out the lack of integrity by another team. When does Oklahoma get their win from a few years ago back? You know, the game where they clearly covered the onside kick, but the ball was given to Oregon anyway. All Oklahoma would have had to do is take a couple of knees. THE GAME WAS OVER! When you credit that win to Oklahoma, give me a call about integrity, because if there was ever an opportunity to show you had some it was then.

by hjkl on Nov 16, 2010 9:37 AM PST reply actions

I agree, Oklahoma got Jobbed

The fault in that game was not the Ducks, it was the referee, or better yet it was the system the referee had to use. The replay officials did not have the TV cameras to use in the replay booth. The official in the booth did not have the right angles to make the call properly. This happened to more teams than just your Oklahoma Sooners. The call was bad, not disputing that. But in no way was that an integrity fault of the Oregon Ducks, if anyone should be pinned for that it’s the Pac-10 Officials, who by the way have jobbed the ducks out of more than one game.

In short, go cry about it somewhere else, or better yet, don’t since you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about.

Every single Duck

new that they had not recovered the fumble. They chose not to correct it. THAT IS LACK OF INTEGRITY!!! Integrity is a personal decision.
Oklahoma’s record 47 game win streak was kept alive when a TCU tight end walk over to a ref and told him that he had not caught the pass the ref just gave him credit for. The result – TCU lost the game instead of winning it.
That is the definition of integrity.
This crap is the definition of hypocrisy.

You're serious. You're really not just trolling.

Turn the tables. Oklahoma recovers the kick even though the replay shows it was clearly the Ducks.

I’m sure Bob Stoops calls the officials over and told them to give the other team the ball.

THAT'S RIGHT, Kenny Wheaton you did. You cut back into GREATNESS.

What in the world has happened to this blog this week.

In 1917, Shy Huntington shot a man in the back! It was right in the middle of the Rose Bowl! It wasn’t even halftime!

The dying Penn players last word(s) were “concussed”, repeated 15,000 times in successively quieter and more strained wheezes.

So that's the standard? Going up to an official and saying "No really, take it, I didn't get it."

You are a troll, and a poor one.

He was only five-foot-three but girls could not resist his stare... Chip Kelly never got called an asshole.

Uh, didn’t your beloved Sooners have to boot two players for getting paid off by donors that year? I’m sure they self-reported because, like you, Oklahoma prides itself on integrity.

by JonathanPDX on Nov 17, 2010 3:33 AM PST up reply actions

Oh silly little troll, you like all the media never get it right...

Stop drinking the Bob Stoops tears mixed with Kool-Aid, and pay attention for five seconds.
1) The ref on the field blew the play dead, marked the ball down signaling possession Oregon. This was incorrect, as the ball was still live and not yet recovered by Oklahoma.
2) Because the ball had not yet been recovered by Oklahoma when the whistle blew, the play is dead. In 2006 this was not reviewable by instant replay.
3) The only part of the play that by 2006 rulebook standards was eligible to be reviewed was who touched it first, and in order to overturn that indisputable video evidence clearly showing who touched it first…video was not clear enough to overturn the ruling on the field.

…Therefore, the play stood as called on the field. It was wrong, but wrong on the part of the ref who prematurely blew the whistle and signaled possession Oregon, NOT the review official. Sending death threats to the review official who by the rule book couldn’t overturn the ruling was beyond ridiculous and showed the true colors of your pathetic fanbase, further evidence by scrotegate a year later.

Did everyone know Oklahoma recovered it? Yeah, of course, I was there. But when the whistle blows the play is dead. Done. Over. So get over it.

And last I checked, the refs didn’t block the FG at the end, so STFU.

This is AWESOME!!!!

It’s a sad sports world when Lane Kiffin outclasses Jeff Tedfurd.

Sadly

I suspect that the only reason Kiffin didn’t do it is because he didn’t think it would work.

no one can say “for sure” that they faked the injuries but anyone that can read between the lines could make a very educated guess. i thought standford and asu were very obvious but the cal bears take the cake for worst acting job. bottom line ducks win bears lose while also resorting to bs like that. i applaud the cal fans that opened their eyes and saw this video for what it is.

So far

I’ve seen this mentioned by Ted Miller of ESPN, it’s on the front page of sbnation, and it’s on USA Today’s site.

Yikes.

go ahead and add

The Oregonian to that list as they confirmed with Cal coaches that it was part of the their strategy.
