Tailgating for UA game

Once again, my girlfriend and I will be flying into town for this game. We had a great time meeting up with some ATQ'ers and tailgating for the Civil War last year, and are looking to do it again this year. Just drove up from LA last night to partake in the Autzen festivities on Friday.
Left a nice warm sunny day in LA, arrived to a blizzard in Eugene…but ranking a 9.5 on the awesome scale of awesomeness is that fact that driving at night in a snowstorm with high-beams on TOTALLY looks like light-speed in Star Wars.

Wherever the ATQ tailgater is located, I’ll see if I can stop by for a little while, there are multiple tailgaters I’m supposed to attend…

I’ve always thought that about the snow=light speed thing. I’d been driving about a month the first time I drove in a pretty serious snowstorm, and I remember thinking “I’m gonna die, but at least I got to go to light speed.”

The Spot

DUCKinNY, keeerrrttt1 and all,

The spot JShu is referring to is about 50 yards downstream (we’re right next to the creek) from the bike cages located next to the footbridge as you enter the stadium area from Alton Baker park. Just head down the bark path and look for a tan tent that sticks up higher than most of the others. Or, randomly yell out ATQ! ATQ! We’ll find you.

We try to have enough snacks and drinks for all, but everyone is encouraged to pitch in. dvieira and his wife will be there, Shu, ATQ Dave I expect, and I heard a rumor that we’ll see jtlight down from Chicago. Hopefully others as well.

In Chip I trust. In Nick, not so much.
