I’d rather see him booted, but this is a nice start. As long as Chip doesn’t reinstate him in the middle of the season.
No more f—-ups, please. Basketball season is already miserable enough without all this football thug crap.
Don't make me Blount you...
I’m glad he wasn’t booted. I think strikes a decent balance between having a harsh punishment, but also giving a second opportunity, that will only be available through hard work.

Not to mention how well it fits into the situation at MLB. Casey’s got one more year, so barring injury, we’ll still be in good shape. 2011 runs around, hopefully Kiko will have his act together, and we’ll all live happily ever after.

Well,
If he can work his way back, good for him. Lets hope he decides not to go Jamere Holland on us and repeatedly blow his second chances.
This off-season officially sucks for FIVE reasons and counting...
Too harsh?
I am just wondering if all of the other player troubles had not occured if his suspention would have been so stiff. Is this standard in other schools to suspend a player for a season for DUII? Just wondering
That's possible.
But on the other hand, all the other players didn’t have the benefit of CK doing a presser to say how he felt about team misconduct. That should have been a blatant reminder of how one behaves on the UO football squad.
