Well, Chip Kelly IS. THE. MAN. I showed up to practice around 10:30, in time to catch some of the 11v11 and some of the indy drills. Afterwards, He was very kind, and was more than happy to not only sign the visor, he offered a football up as well. He was very nice to talk too, and also looks to be in great shape!
Here is a picture of the signed visor.
tomorrow around noon time, I will go by the football offices and get the football. Afterwards, mattdaddy will help me put this stuff on Ebay, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the lil' Gorby foundation, aka Children's Brittle Bone Foundation "link":cbbf.org
Now onto the practice observations
--Nate Costa has much better control of the offense with the 1s at this point, and appears to be more mobile in the pocket than i've ever seen him. That being said, Darron Thomas has made strides with his throwing motion, and fit a couple nice mid-range balls inbetween defenders near the end of practice.
--Lamichael is noticably faster. I don't think I need to say any more than that.
--Eddie Pleasant at Rover is totally unfair. He blew up a lot of plays, and had a hand in most tackles.
--Brandon Bair didn't have one hands-to-the-face that I could see.
--Darron Thomas is the current PK holder, and he needs some work at it.
--TJ3 and Anthony Gildon have a good rapport together.
