A little late on the Quack this morning, which seems to be a recurring theme this offseason. What can I say, I'm not as motivated without football (or hoops, or baseball). Anyway, here's your Wednesday Morning Quack Fix:
- Ashton Eaton and Andrew Wheating are two of the three finalists for The Bowerman, the award given to the nation's top collegiate male track and field athlete.
- Single-game football tickets for all six of the Ducks' home games this fall go on sale tomorrow at 10 p.m. on GoDucks.com. And in case you want to put the cost of the tickets into perspective, The Oregonian's Rachel Bachman breaks it all down.
- LostLetterman.com has been examining the top 100 college football traditions the past few months, and coming in at No. 37 is none other than the Oregon Duck. I'm sure most of us have some idea of the history of our favorite mascot, but it's always interesting to hear/read another perspective.
- Also from LostLetterman.com: The top 10 most powerful college football boosters. Surprisingly, Phil Knight comes in at No. 2. Any guess who No. 1 is?
