Source: Masoli headed to Ole Miss
A source told ESPN's Joe Schad that former Oregon QB Jeremiah Masoli is expected to enroll at Ole Miss. Good riddance.

I really don't like that "Good Riddance" line
sure he fucked up. But its not like he won us a pac-10 championship or anything.

Thanks for the update, Paul, but I do not like the editorial in there.
Look, he was just a football player. We loved him when he was good, and the second he started screwing up and embarrassing himself and the University, we jumped off the bandwagon and dropped him like a sack of bricks. With good reason, but I digress. Masoli is the one who will be having to carry the baggage of what-could-have-been his whole life, not us. Who are we to feel victimized?
Chip Kelly is my shepherd, there is nothing I shall want.
Relax, gents.
Good riddance, as in, he’s found somewhere to go, and we don’t have to hear about it anymore.
I’m, quite frankly, a Masoli fan, and I actually feel sorry for him.

Here's to a fresh start Jeremiah

Can you believe this guy stole crap before a Heisman possible season?
Then after Effing up huge he goes and does something else hugely stupid and takes away his chance at redemption.
He also may have destroyed any real chance of playing in the NFL.
I feel sorry for him, sad for us fans who had to suffer through it too and have lost what might have been.
Costa/Thompson will be ready. Psst, hand it to James and friends.

1. Read DCDuck’s Costa article
2. Push for this Thompson guy to start.

I think we had a Justin Thompson on our roster at one point
Close enough to Jeremy Manzionium I think. Lets give him a shot.

Doesn’t Dan Fouts have a year of eligibility left?

something about getting paid by the NFL might get in the way of that

He played for the Chargers.
Believe me, that means that he never got paid.

Good Luck?
Here’s hoping he makes the most out of his second third chance. I would think W. Virginia might be a better fit but they’re QB situation can’t be as bad as it is in Ole Miss right now.
Anyone can be cool but being awesome takes practice
Good luck.
Let’s hope he finally gets it.

Tough day.
The guy was such a good story and so fun to watch. I found myself screaming at him to go down rather than run for a few more yards, but then I’d be jumping out of my seat a second later when he laid a defender on the turf and got the first down. It sucks to think he could be so cavalier in his life off the field while being the kind of guy who gave the team his absolute all every time he had the ball in his hands.
Bad decisions or not, he’s still a guy who played a huge role for one of the most amazing seasons of Duck football we’ve ever seen.

Well lets see,
take your pick I’m guessing “Social Work”,or “Medicinal Chemistry” (wait probably not legally possible). The other graduate programs I would guess he would take are offered at Oregon “MA Ed. Special Ed.” or “Communication Disorders and Sciences.”

Best of luck, but I'm glad he's gone.
Zone read – good
Trucking DB’s – oh so good
Stealing shit – um, really bad
Lying – bad
Disregard for the position he was in, the team that relied on him, etc etc for whatever motivation that made him get in stupid situations – bad
So, I hope he’s learned a lesson, and I was probably his biggest fan, but come on, get your shit together or get out.
Thank you track, baseball, softball, and golf for ending my summer hibernation.

I'm actually excited to see him play at Ole Miss
I think we’ll be fine this year without him, he managed games and could run when needed, but his arm was suspect in most games, pretty sure we’ll be okay.

Best wishes to him
I hope he turns things around there. I suspect that one of the things that he is most guilty of is monumentally, near fatal, bad judgement. I hope it finally improves and he does well at Ole Miss.
Totally Agree with daisyduck
I think I’m the most mad about this whole situation because I’m selfish. I wanted Masoli to be here in 2010 so we would have that possibility of the country knowing about us as a power to be reckoned with. I felt he took that away from me. So that’s selfish.
I do wish him well, though, and, I’m looking forward to our future.
Born to be a Duck.
Pretty typical
Pac-10 team boots him, no problem at all for an SEC team.
I don't pour beer on Max Hall's family often, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis.
I'm not sure I'd be casting aspersions just yet.
We’re still in the running for the Fulmer Cup after all.

Best of luck, not "good riddance"
I’m glad you put a strikethrough on the “good riddance” comment. As one of the all-time greats of Oregon football, and one of only four Duck QBs to lead the team to the Rose Bowl, I will always support Jeremiah Masoli. He made some terrible off-field mistakes, and he’s had to pay for them. But I choose to honor Oregon’s heroes in good times and bad.
OT, sorta
It sure is fun to watch Costa throw the football
