In light of some recent disagreements between members of the community, as well as a few comments in various threads that I found perilously close to the line of what we can and cannot report on, I just wanted to give a little heads up on what is kosher or not as far as what is reportable from practice.
Most things are perfectly fine to talk about. Emailing a few people who are close to the program, he's the most concise explanation I got for what we should stay away from:
"[Don't post] anything relating to specific run plays, or specific routes being run, or routes being covered by certain defenders."
Seems reasonable. We've had a few comments in some posts about trick plays, or whose covering wheel routes, etc. Lets just try to stay away from things that specific in the future. During the season, when everyone has game film, its all fair game, but for now, lets make sure to tread lightly. Remember, if the threat to close practices wasn't credible, then why have so many schools done so aleady?
