Sorry if this has been done.
I have scoured the internet looking for some infomation on Seastrunk. I am just wondering how he is progressing for you guys.
I'm an Auburn alumni and really liked Lache, I thought he was the perfect back for Auburn and we seemed to burn a bridge with him for some reason. He will be tremendous in a year or so for you and I will be cheering for him to tear apart the Pac 10.
Anyway, like the title says, sorry if this has been asked, I just couldn't find it.

From my limited understanding,
Seastrunk had a fair amount of trouble learning the playbook through fall camp. He also had to learn (like most speedy backs coming out of high school do) that his speed wont allow him to get to the outside of the field whenever he wants to do so. He was dancing around a lot, but apparently got much better at trusting the play.
He has shown ridiculous speed and agility when he is in space, and supposedly juked out about half of our defense at once on his way to the endzone in one scrimmage. It is tough to say if he will play this season, but he certainly looks like he will be a great back once he gets more time to develop.

I actually think it’s quite likely that he’ll see the playing field against New Mexico, because 1) LMJ won’t be playing at all, and 2) I assume that we’ll enter garbage time somewhere around the minute-thirty mark into the game. At least, I hope.

I do what I can, and for the record, what I can do is dreadfully hit-and-miss. ;-)

If you look at past fanposts on this site
A few AtQers have done a very good job summarizing most of the practices from fall camp. Seastrunk’s name comes up fairly often.
I figured as much
but didn’t want to wade through 30 posts to find one. I know, it was a bit lazy but I had to go do some work at the animal shelter this morning and was kind of in a rush.
Good luck to you guys this year.
I would be an Alabama fan too but I didn't go to Troy. Instead, I am an Auburn man because I went to Auburn.
another thing you can do is use the “Search” button on the top right and once inside the search engine you can do advanced searches on Seastruck’s name or even fanposts, or comments about him.
Hope this helps.
Hey Daisy, git me anudder one!

It's kind of funny
I grew up outside of the Iron Bowl thing, which if you have never been around it is absolutely insane. I don’t hate Alabama itself, just despise the fanbase. They have some of the most obnoxious fans that you will find anywhere and they earn every bit of hate that they get. I used to be a member of several of their fan sites because I just like talking football and got run off of almost all of them for a couple disagreements.
On a side note, we get to see how good Masoli is with him moving close to us and getting to see a lot of bigtime defenses this year. Not saying this as a knock but he will have much less talent around him at Ole Miss than at Oregon. I think he made a mistake going there, he would have done better going another program that was just lacking a quarterback from being a great team, maybe someone like Georgia if they would have taken him.

Here, I'll save you the trouble...

Also, the site has a nice search feature.. just pop “Seastrunk” into the Search window (top right), and get a whole page of the Lache Effect.
Average Score Since 2004: Oregon 42 Washington 17
He will do fine and we will take really good care of him.
Most of what I have gotten from the blogs is that he IS a real talent but is also a freshman.
I went to a competition day last weekend with Lache returning punts. Our punter shanked one towards the sidelines where the majority of the fans were watching practice and Lache held up. Lache held up near the sideline and didn’t go after the ball. A coach came over and asked what he was doing (in a positive way) and Lache responded “I didn’t want to kill anyone” or something to that effect. Got a big laugh out of the fans on the sideline and really endeared him. He may be having trouble with the playbook (and who wouldn’t as a freshman) but he seems to have a heart of gold and a winning smile. Combine that with talent and you have the kind of player I want at the UofO

Autzen Stadium is where great teams go to die." - J. Brady McCullough, The Michigan Daily.
When I went to practice a couple of weeks ago some of the regular attendees talked about how Lache needs to become tougher. I was told the defense made it their objective to knock the smile off his face. A few plays later Eddie Pleasant just about knocked his head off.
I don’t think there’s any doubt Lache will be a very good player for the Ducks, but I think Dontae Williams will have more touches this year. I have a feeling Lache will earn his stripes on the scout team as a freshman much like the way LaMichael did.
Mattco....
Seastrunk is going to be a special player, no doubt about that. He’s a little buried on the depth chart right now behind a few very talented guys in their own right. I don’t think he’ll redshirt, as RB is one position where a lot of guys will get some action. It’s the one position that a freshman can come in and really contribute right away. Once he absorbs the playbook a little more, I think in a few weeks he will contribute a great deal to the team.
Auburn is going to be tough in the SEC this year. You guys will compete to win your division, I think even Herbstreit picked you guys to win your Division and play Florida in the SEC Title game. That’s a long ways away, and the season has not even started but it’s probably nice to have that amount of optimism flowing through the program in August and all off-season.
I watched the entire 2009 Iron Bowl, and that was a tough one for you guys. I really thought you’d pull the upset and beat ‘Bama. I won’t say they got lucky, they did score late on a really nice long drive, but I felt you guys outplayed them for the majority of the game.
Good luck in ’10.

Not sure we are there.
Our old coach Tuberville really left us with some major roster issues and they won’t be sorted out this year or next year. We were left losing all of our linebackers and offensive linemen this year and he recruited no one that is D1 capable to follow them. I think the new staff is doing a good job of bringing in talent that meshes well together but I think we are two years from being consistent.
News out of Oxford, MS is that Masoli is still not cleared to play yet and the season starts Saturday. Not sure what the hold up is but I thought you guys might find it interesting.
