UW: Marginal Bowl Team?
"Though Washington is still a marginal bowl team, this is a down year for the Pac 10 with the exception of Oregon, Stanford, and Arizona. Simply, the Huskies should still win more games than they lose."
Hmm. To get to a bowl, the whelps will have to go at least 5-4 in the Pac-10. Setting aside the debatable assertion that this is a down year in the conference (this attitude could be expected from the east coast media in a season where USC is ineligible, but is nothing more than a convenient rationalization here), let's look at how realistic that goal is..
1) UW only has four home games in conference: ASU, OSU, Stanford and UCLA. 2-2 is probably the best they can expect there.
2) The whelps are on the road for USC, Arizona, Oregon, Cal and Wazzu. Hard to see where they get 3 wins there, based on their nonconference performance.
3) Their "Heisman candidate" is coming off one of the worst performances by a starting QB in recent major college football history.
4) The numbers don't lie. After three weeks of FBS play, the Mistake at Montlake doesn't rank in the upper division of the Pac-10 in any statistical category except Sacks Allowed, and barely crack the top 60 in any category nationally.
"Miracle Bowl Team" is more likely.

Your first problem is that you took anything Berkowitz said seriously.

To quote one of the posters at UW Dawg pound:
“Last years Husky team would crush the 2010 version.”
KU fans-how I hate thee!
That made me laugh
I don’t know why but I am still laughing at the thought of that game.
GO DUCKS!!

Pullman on December 4th.

I see what you did there.
Q: How come Oregon State players haven't gotten in trouble for stealing anything from a frat house?

Isn't that the futility bowl?
"I have a very strong distaste for Oregon State and Washington. Also Stanford.
Re: Your "worst performances by a starting QB ever" bullet...
What constitutes that? A poor completion percentage for a game? Low yardage? Because I know a starting QB who had a crappy day too, but he’s not on that list.
My yoke is heavy.
Well
1. We won
2. He went off for 170 yards rushing. 170 yards at any position is a good day.
3. That stat page clearly says “Minimum 20 Pass attempts” JM had 19
4. Even so 26% > 20%
5. Considering the next possible completion percentage on that list is 25% (5/20) It’s likely there are more on that list before you reach JM
6. 7.1 yards per carry is unstoppable. When you’re QB is unstoppable in any facet it can’t be considered for the worst performance by a starting QB ever.
Quack Quack Bitches.
oh, they're good
clearly, Polk/? are the best duo in the conference.
