Media Wednesday: Flo TV Reminds us of the 2000 Holiday Bowl
Better late than never! Media Wednesday brings you a direct result of the University of Oregon being able to market the Duck mascot outside the state of Oregon. I first saw this during a commercial break for the show Tosh.O on Comedy Central. Nice timing on the "biggest rivalries" quote as well. Totally awesome.

The most incredible part of this:
I am relatively sure that game footage is from 2002.
I heart taxes.
Definitely Not
Joey’s catch and stumble into the end zone came in the 2000 Holiday Bowl. Best play I ever saw live

My favorite part is when the Duck ‘quacks!’ when he tries to stop at the garbage can and the chick drags him on.

My only question about the whole thing, though, is why in the world is Ducky dumpster-diving?

They're on leashes, like dogs.
You love ‘em like your team but they’re also so much trouble, getting into everything.

I get the dog part…I just don’t think “Ducky” and “trash” should co-exist in the same thought. :p

Fortunately that wasn't the Houston mascot
It wouldn’t have ended in a simple sniffing fest.
Republicans are liars, Democrats are hypocrites, they are both bought and paid for by corporations. Grrr.
HAs anyone tried this FloTV stuff?
Does it work well? It would be useful for the saturdays where I have a bowling tourney, and the tv’s only show the SEC games.
Q: How come Oregon State players haven't gotten in trouble for stealing anything from a frat house?
