TV: Comcast Sportsnet Northwest
KenPom Prediction: Oregon 74-60
I was unable to get up a preview for this game due to some other things I had to attend, but UTEP isn't very good. Their three losses have come at the hands of UTSA, New Mexico St., and Stephen F. Austin. If we're as far along as I think we are, this one should be comfortable.

Tim Floyd was only a successful coach when he had the incredible LA-area talent that being USC's coach brought.
He’s otherwise mediocre, and poor at disciplining his teams.

I do love it. The only problems are that they don’t carry the NHL Network any more and that the MLB Network is on their premium tier. Otherwise, though, I can’t complain.

I have the 200 tier and it’s not on there. It looks like, in my zip code, you only get MLB Network on the top tier. Go here and check your zip code: uverse

Oregon is shooting terrible at 33% and an awesome 18.2% from 3. Let’s not talk about the 10 turnovers. Olu is the only bright spot for the Ducks right now with 7 points and no one on UTEP has more than 5.
Oregon needs to take better care of the ball, and hope for a reversion to the mean in shooting otherwise this one is going to come down to the wire and right now UTEP is getting the easier looks.

Loyd is so frustrating for me to watch
He’ll have streaks that are just beautiful. Driving to the basket, nice dimes to guys in transition, make a couple of 3s and play scrappy defense. Then he’ll look totally erratic at other times. Dribble off his leg, try and go 1 on 3 down the lane, get swallowed up on screens.

Things are looking very similar to last season early, with tough wins against not so tough teams. Really interested to see how this team does against BYU on Saturday.

Since I can't watch the game on Uverse...
catching up on daily shows and saw Daniel Tosh wearing a duck jersey. Not sure if this has been discussed, but did he go to UofO? What’s his connection? Just a bandwagon fan?
The little I’ve seen he’s pretty damn funny. May need to watch more now…

I really hope this doesn’t become a trend. Losing two of your top 3 recruits doesn’t bode well. Other recruits will ask questions and have doubts that maybe it’s something to do with the coaches.
