National Signing Day 2011: Oregon Ducks get commitment from OT Jake Fisher

Stay connected for news and updates

The blizzard that struck the Midwest last night has delayed his press conference, but three star OT Jake Fisher will be signing with the Ducks, per his high school coach. Jake picked the Ducks over home state schools Michigan and Michigan State, as well as Florida.

The addition of Fisher makes this one of the top groups of offensive linemen the Ducks have ever had, and it has the size many Duck fans started hoping for after the BCS Championship Game.

Fisher is a great start for the Ducks on national signing day as they wait for announcements for a few remaining future stars, including De'Anthony Thomas, Delvon Simmons, and Christian Heyward.
