Minecraft may be the best sandbox game of all time. Today the server I play on went down, so I built this! It's mostly eyeballed so proportions may not be exact. but I built it on a 64X64 grid one block at a time :)

When I was teen, I played a lot of video games, but since about 16-17… I play from time-to-time. Too many of them are stupid time sinks that actually require an amount of time commitment.

If I have 20 minutes, I’ll play NCAA 2012. With minecraft, you can build on something – whatever you can put your brain to – and do it 5, 10, 15 or 320 minutes at a time.

This took me

About 3 hours to make, and that’s with giving myself the items. If I was going to do it again I could probably do it in under an hour. Trying to get the bottom curves of the shield correct was the hardest part.
