Ducks #3 in Coaches' Preseason Poll
Oklahoma and Alabama are 1 and 2, respectively. The Ducks' first opponent, LSU, is #4. Thoughts?

Turning Stomach
I heard this on ESPN, heard on FOX sports, local news etc. EVERY time I hear it my stomach turns, I get a slight headache, the butterflies flutter and a slimy sweat creeps down my neck. It’s nice we get the recognition but it certainly makes me nervous. The bigger they are, the harder…
The only saving grace is my faith in the leadership of this particular team to actually ignore such accolades and truly “take one game at a time”. Oh, I’ll still be super-nervous everytime I see/hear “pre-season #3” but that’s part of the fun.
GAWD I love this time of year!
The panic meme is over, now we slip Pulp Fiction into the conversation.

Wait...
the 10-3 team is ranked higher than the 12-1 team? Can you say ESECPN?
Dear Pit Crew,
If my ears aren't ringing, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.
I don’t think anyone has won anything this year.

Well they return more starters than we do
A 14-0 team (Auburn) is ranked 19 and a 13-0 team is ranked 15 because of how much talent they lost to graduation/NFL.
Considering the Ducks lost: 3 starters on the offensive line, the top 2 receivers, 3 of the 4 starting defensive linemen, and 2 out of the 3 starting linebackers,
I think #3 is really good and speaks volumes about how the people on the outside view the Ducks’ football program (losing all those starters and being preseason #3 is straight up USC-esque)
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
Three is Brian Bennett's number. I like this too.
