The fact that human beings can run that fast, for that long, is astounding.
That’s a four and a half mile-ish pace, for over six miles. Freak.

In other news, I ran three miles in almost the time it took Galen Rupp to run 10K.

Look at that order of finish
Two Africans, Rupp, and then 8 Kenyans. Wow that is seriously something. Great job by Galen – it’s so great to see him carry the mantle of amazing distance runners from Oregon.
