Quack Fix: Tuscon breeds suspense, and other links

Old Macdonald had a quack...but then he lost it.

  • Adam Jude has a piece in the Register-Guard today that speaks of the recent history of close games when the Ducks travel to Tuscon, the most recent one being the 44-41 2OT thriller in November of 2009.
  • Moseley's Wednesday Update providing readers with tidbits such as the fact that senior OL Ramsen Golpashin appears to have a serious knee injury and may be done for the year. Tough break for the redshirt senior.
  • Over on Duckterritory, Matt Prehm speaks of Oregon Basketball's "Midknight Madness" event on October 15th at precisely midnight. There aren't a lot of details out yet, but it's sure to be a fun night as people get their first look at the Duck's vaunted freshmen.
  • The Portland Tribune lauds former head coach Rich Brooks' induction into the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame this year.
  • Finally, Foxsports.com has an interesting article that asks if "apparel deals sway recruits." Short answer: Duh.
  • It appears that the overlords left us to fend for ourselves today and plunged the ATQ community into a Fear Factor-style panic attack. We shall rise up to their challenge. Next week, tune in to see which ATQ member can eat the most cockroaches.
