If Kelly Goes to the NFL, Who Would Oregon Hire?
I hope that this question does not need to be answered! No one can argue that Chip is one of the best coaches in college football, and I cannot think of any coach that I would rather have for the Ducks. That being said, if Kelly does leave then the Ducks seem to be in a very tough position... All of the "top tier" coaches have already signed with other schools. Urban Meyer would be the dream hire, but he is at Ohio St. Rich Rodriguez seems to me like the best replacement but he was just signed by Arizona. Chris Peterson would be a good fit, but he just signed a big extension.... I really hope that Chip wouldn't leave at this point when it is too late to find a good replacement.

My List
1.) Chris Peterson
2.) Gary Patterson
3.) Jon Grudon
4.) Tony Dungy
5.) Mike Bellotti
Probably only Bellotti is a realistic option to have a chance at to get and with his seeming reluctance to go back to Coaching, that seems like a long shot as well. :/ This sucks!
I would also like our school to see if Gene Chizik would be interested at all as well
Obviously this is a huge long shot as well. But unless he can land another Cam Newton his teams are always going to be second fiddle to LSU, Alabama. He would be leaving a conference where his offense (or offense in general) is second to defense to a conference where exciting QB play and fast spread offenses are all the rage. He would be taking over a team primed for a Natty run. Like I said probably not going to happen, but worth a shot.

Chizik isn't that great
Malzahn made that offense run, Chizik’s claim to fame was having a hugely awesome talent at QB for one year. Not remotely interested.
If I could kiss Nick Holt, I would. Though, with him, I’m sure it would end in deep penetration and a score
My guess is you're thinking of Gus Malzahn.
"Screw them all" said Coach Chip Kelly, "trololololol lolol lol lol!

I really hope we put Gary Patterson at the top
He’s the best fit as a college coach for what we’re doing now. Not a huge fan of Petersen given that his players generally lack on-field discipline. Bellotti won’t coach for us again, and I wouldn’t want him to. He’s contributed so much to Oregon Football, it would be an insult to bring him back after Chip given that he was basically encouraged to retire.
Gruden and Dungy are pipe dreams. They will always be NFL coaches.
Prince: This bores me. Is anyone up for a game of basketball?
Damaged Ducks
As was said, pending problems may hurt here. Grudon would be cool, and he may be able to deal with it all.
Puleeze stay away from any coach with a 2-0 record against you guys. Please.
Well, that's seven hours of my life I'm not getting back.
I've been chosen as an extra in the movie adaptation of the sequel to my life.
