Oregon Ducks get commitment from Dylan Ausherman
Per Chris Sailer, Oregon has received a commitment from kicker Dylan Ausherman, the #2 rated punter in the country by Chris Sailer Kicking. Ausherman, who visited Eugene last weekend, is a junior college transfer with three years to play two. He provides much needed depth in the Oregon kicking game.

I for one, got a kick out of this. Great news!

I for one, would like to punt a witty reply to Famous Duck

It's so good having you around Noah putting this stuff on the site
Thanks and keep up the great work.

That was funny, and a well-deserved rec.
But I feel obliged to point out that Ausherman will never record a -4 yard punt.
Fuck you NFL! Chip Kelly IS the highest level of football!
I highly doubt that will never be achieved again

I'm glad we grabbed a kicker in this class
The idea of having a frosh punter handy is not comforting. Even though that Rice kid worked out just fine.

I’d honestly rather have a freshman than an upperclassman. I hate getting a good kicker for a very short amount of time.

But this way we'll have matching RS juniors (assuming Maldonado actually gets to readshirt).
Then we can get a kicker and punter and RS them both when they’re seniors.

Nice to see he's finished kicking around the idea and that he didn't make a snap decision.
"Screw them all" said Coach Chip Kelly, "trololololol lolol lol lol!

Usually you're in on the winning team for these innuendos
Now it looks like the shoe is on the other foot. I think BGWM has a leg up on you and the rest of the group here. Maybe this will kickstart your efforts.
Prince: This bores me. Is anyone up for a game of basketball?

OK, that's a REC for effort (or should I say f- foot?)

...best over all kicker.
At the Nike Summer Tour Sailer Kicking camp Ausherman was the punting champion with consistant punts of 60 yards with 5-plus second hang-time and was selected as the best over all kicker.
That says it all
With a kicker, you know what you’re getting. He doesn’t have to fit into a “system”; just kick the damn ball.
With three years to play two, we have the next two years to recruit and develop a kicker. Great news!
