Isaac Remington Indefinitely Suspended after DUII arrest

Scott Olmos-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Oregon defensive lineman Isaac Remington was indefinitely suspended after being arrested for DUII at 12:30am Friday morning.

Good news everyone, this totally doesn't count in the Fulmer Cup!

The bad news, defensive lineman Isaac Remington was ticketed this morning for DUII and then indefinitely suspended by Chip Kelly. According to Rob Moseley, the suspending is "pending clarification" of the incident.

According to the Oregonian, Remington was not jailed, but was taken into custody.

Remington has been a strong producer for Oregon this season with 4 tackles for loss and a sack. The Ducks are deep and talented along the defensive line, but they'll need freshmen Arik Armstead and DeForest Buckner to stop up quickly, as we have to assume that Remington will miss at least one game though possibly more.
