For those of you who haven't been following, the volleyball team has been putting together a special season. Currently at 14-1, the squad has been a surprise in the loaded Pac-12 and is currently ranked #5 in the country after suffering their first loss of the season last week to Stanford. Tonight, they face off against Washington State (12-6, 2-4), in a rematch of what was an epic five set battle last season. The game will be televised on Pac-12 Networks.

The moderators here at ATQ have been as guilty in our ignorance of volleyball as anyone, but that all changes tonight. As part of our redesign that allows us to feature several stories on the front page as opposed to just one, ATQ is committed to providing an open thread and recap to every volleyball match from here forward. Furthermore, myself and fellow ATQ moderator dvieira are taking in our first volleyball match tonight, and will be liveblogging that experience in the comments of this thread.

Then, stick around after the game, when Matt Knight Madness kicks off the college basketball season for the Duck men and women. That will also be on the Pac-12 Network, and ATQ will be there as well, giving you our first impressions on all the new faces for Oregon this season.
