Oregon Volleyball Defeats the Washington Huskies, 3-1

The Oregon Ducks Volleyball Team defeated the Washington Huskies at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene on Saturday, 3 sets to 1, to improve to 16-1 on the year. With the loss, Washington suffered their first defeat of the season and fell to a record of 16-1.

The Ducks took the opening set 26-24 but the Huskies would come back in the second set 25-20. Oregon would then go on to win the second set 25-22 and the third set 25-17 to win the match. Alaina Bergsma had 23 kills and 8 digs while Ariana Williams led the team in hitting (.444).

Next up, Oregon starts a 4-game road trip, traveling to the Arizona schools next week to take on the Arizona Wildcats on October 19th and the Arizona St. Sun Devils on October 20th.
