Speed Kills! Or at least worries Nick Saban

Can't believe an audio bite (can't find it yet) I just heard on ESPN's College Football Live program. Nick (not-so-quick) Saban was complaining about these "new offenses" that play so fast it's "endagering player safety". Can you believe that? He goes on to say with the offenses playing so fast the defense can't get set, get the right players in, etc. and that it makes the game unsafe for players that aren't ready to play.

Unbelievable!

It couldn't be because he recruits brutes that occasionally have the "vapors" due to not being in good enough shape to run down those "trick offenses"?

Methinks Coach Nick may be looking ahead and already finding excuses.
