US PRESSWIRE

The Oregon Ducks enter the soft part of the non-conference schedule as they host the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Lions at Matthew Knight Arena.

Following Thursday's win over UTSA, the Oregon Ducks return to the court Saturday against Arkansas-Pine Bluff looking to improve to 7-1. Arkansas-Pine Bluff is 1-5, and this will mark their third consecutive road game against a Pac-12 team, having lost to Washington State and Arizona State.

The Ducks hope to get another excellent game from senior transfer Arsalan Kazemi, who had an impressive stat line of 20 points (8-9 shooting), six rebounds, four assists, five steals, and six blocks on Thursday against UTSA.

UAPB is led by guard Lazabian Jackson, a senior who averages 12.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. They struggle mightily to score, shooting 34% as a team on the season, placing them 346th out of 347 Division I teams.

The two teams have played once before, with Oregon beating UAPB, 73-53, on December 28, 2009 at McArthur Court.
