Printdoes anyone know the if, when, or where the Rose Bowl jerseys will be sold??? I am stationed in England for the time being and would really like to know the details. If they will only be sold in stores up in Eugene, I would like to know that as well, seeing as I have some family up there who can get it to me. Any info or rumors you have will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There were no plans to make these available for retail purchase, but the the CSR I spoke with said that might change if-and I rightly corrected her by saying "when"- the Ducks won the Rose Bowl. We all know who was right! 8-] Since the RB unis haven’t been offered already, chances are they won’t (this is just a guess).
They will definitely be available in their future incarnations (read: regular uniforms, prolly without the iridescent numbering-per the CSR) with the new shoulder feather design (seen in the RB) in June or July. My own opinion (and I agree this is complete speculation) is that retailers had a hart time moving ’09 RB, ’10 Natty and ’11 CC unis. They also never moved the $80 price point.

If the next generation reg. season unis don't have the iridescent numbers, I'm going to be pissed.
The new numbers (font + shiny) was the major upgrade with the new jersey set. To lose the iridescence would be a disappointment. I’d understand not having it on every colorway (though I wouldn’t mind it), but to scrap it altogether? Bad call.

What I'd like to see -
Green unis – Rose Bowl numbers.
Yellow unis – Rose Bowl green numbers w/ black borders.
Black unis – Yellow numbers w/ green border. Could be iridescent.
White unis – Rose Bowl numbers.
Alt White Uni (if monochrome again) – Silver number with black border.
Throwback/Ducky Green unis – Yellow w/ black border.
Steel unis – Rose Bowl numbers.

Also, I hope that the helmets become a one off thing. I think they should be retired as a symbol of the only duck class in the last 90 years to win a rose bowl. With Oregon hall of fame players like LMJ.

Though with the Ducks getting a totally new uni set this summer, I’m sure Nike isn’t too concerned about not making money off the Rose Bowl one-offs right this second.

Just do what I do – buy a multipack of white t-shirts and a pack of sharpies from Target, and mock up your own. It’s basically totally the same thing.

I didn’t know we were getting an entirely knew uniform this year. :( I kind of liked the ones we had.

We've been on about a three year cycle since the Harrington era.
Also, I talked to the Duck Store in December. They said new unis with a design very similar (may or may not have iridescent numbers) to those seen in the RB will be used starting the ‘12-’13 season. The Rose Bowl was a showcase.

To be honest, I kind of like the ones we have. Still, I’ll wait and see. Here’s hoping we at least keep the wings and our colors. lol

Might be your only chance to get one, but it would be a real keeper. Actual game jersey! Here is the e-bay site. Pretty rad. But the price tag is going to be steep as he is raising money to start a scholarship fund. So if your wallet is fat enough to back up your desire to have one you can, plus you can feel good about spreading a little good karma around.
A little OT but I got the new T-shirt today at the Duck store with
the black helmet and silver wings……stunning and subtle in places, like little tiny O kinda hid….
