To Whom It May Concern
You'll notice that I've changed my ATQ avatar. To purple. The reason is thus:
This weekend marks 1 year since the tragic drowning of two universally loved seniors in my high school class Connor and Jack while on a Mr. Axemem retreat at the coast. Their deaths really shocked, stunned, and brought our community together. While the pain was different for many and the wounds at various levels of health, it still hurts.
I've changed my profile picture on Facebook to the purple square, same as last year, and it seems right to have all of my "profile pictures" reflect the same. So please no jokes, no poking fun, no harassing me about it. Save it for later; I'll change it back Monday.
Best,
Axemen23

I think I speak for everybody
When everything is laid bare on the ground before us, when we boil everything down. There really is no difference between a Duck and a huskie. We live in different parts of the world, we support different teams, players, politicians, and media stars. They may all be wrong, but we’re all people. Loss is something that everyone will know in time and most of us already know it all too well.
I lost one of my best friends to a car accident 6 days after he graduated from highschool. It shocked all of us. I think that given the circumstances we can set our college allegiances and fandom aside. Behind all of the trolling and bodyspray jokes, many of us here enjoy your humor and your jabs back. Now as a community we stand behind you and will give you all the support you deserve. Not as a Duck but as a person. Our thoughts and prayers go you to you and those you lost. Keep the avatar for as long as you see fit. You won’t hear a word from me.
But you are all the smartest, funniest, most handsome bitches on all the internets.~DaisyDuck 11.2.11

I thnk it's very good of you to pay tribute to your friends, axe.
I’ll be thinking of both them and you this weekend.

I remember my daughter playing hoops for Sheldon last year and all the Sheldon girls wore purple headbands, eschewing the Irish green,
