Don't blame Altman and think this is just an issue affecting Oregon.

Article here explains the pandemic well. Plainly put, kids (they are kids) don't want to face adversity early in their college years. Coaches have to recruit selling early playing time (if Altman doesn't another coach will) and then kids feel lied too.

It's stupid, it's hurting the game and the NCAA need to take major steps to curb this. But you can't blame Altman for something that is also affecting nearly every D-1 school and don't forget we've been on the receiving end too.
