I talked to Brett Kingma about a month ago, and I asked him why Jabari and Bruce left. He said they (and Kingma) were recruited as if they were going to play a lot of minutes and that the team was going to sacrifice immediate success for the development of its young players. When that didn't happen, and when they kept adding junior college players, Jabari felt the program was dishonest with him.

To me that seams reasonable. Brett didn't indicate to me that he was going to leave too, however.

I think one reason we're losing basketball players is that we're breaking our recruiting promises.
