We had a great opportunity yesterday, and had a chance to spend a few minutes with LaMichael James. I asked him about his time and Oregon and the transition to the NFL. He also told us what he'd tell a high schooler who was looking at Oregon, and about how Oregon prepared him for the NFL, among a few topics. Thanks to LaMichael for taking the time to talk with us.

The main reason for the interview was that LaMichael is partnered with Gatorade and their "Beat The Heat" campaign, so there are a few questions about that at the end of the interview. While it's usually pretty easy to dismiss this type of promotional marketing, this message is especially important this summer with temperatures so high throughout the country. Stay safe, everyone.
