I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weekend. Here's some of the quack I found:

• Four Ducks made preseason watch lists. Kenjon Barner and De'Anthony Thomas are on the Maxwell Award list as national player of the year, and Dion Jordan and John boyett on the Bednarik Award list for defensive player of the year.
• Ted Miller has a great article about winningest coaches. In my opinion, knowing when to let a coach go, especially when they are your all time wins leader is probably one of the toughest things. Penn St and FSU are twp names that easily come to mind. It will be interesting to see how Cal and OSU handle it in the coming years.
• The Opening was this weekend, and there are a lot of opinions about high schoolers floating around now. Daniel Mediate was able to catch up to one Oregon commit, Alex Redmond and get his opinions on Oregon and the recruiting scene.
• Another Oregon commit, Dontre Wilson, sounds like the perfect fit for Oregon.
