Oregon RB Recruit Thomas Tyner Sets All-Time Oregon Single-Game Rushing and Touchdown Record

Stay connected for news and updates

Oregon's next running back, Thomas Tyner out of Aloha HS, had himself a game:

The 644 yards and ten touchdowns not only stand as Oregon state record, but both rank as the third highest single-game totals in the history of high school football. Aloha won the game over Lakeridge, 84-63, in a defensive performance that only Nick Holt could love. Its worth noting that Tyner also played safety in the game as well.

Tyner was given a 5-star rating by Scout.com, and a four-star rating by Rivals.com and 247.com. He was Oregon's first commit in the current recruiting class. With Tyner and RB Dontre Wilson out of Texas, Oregon has commitments from what some consider to be the top two running backs in the 2012 class.
