After three games of the 2012 college football season, Oregon sits comfortably at #3 in the SB Nation BlogPoll, trailing only Alabama and LSU. The Crimson Tide earned all but one first place vote this week, with the lone dissenter rewarding the Stanford Cardinal for their win over USC. The Trojans fell from #3 to #16 following their 21-14 loss, but are currently the top one-loss team. Michigan State was the other big team to plummet in the rankings, falling fourteen spots to #22 after their 20-3 loss to Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish rose to #11. Some big games this week that will shake up the rankings, no matter the outcome:
- #21 Michigan @ #11 Notre Dame
- #14 Kansas State @ #6 Oklahoma
- #10 Clemson @ #5 Florida State
- # 20 Arizona @ #3 Oregon
Also, for the first time this season, ATQ's ballot makes it into the extracurricular Top Fives. Noah and my ballot this week had the second-most radical change from last week, behind only the fantastic Iowa blog Black Heart Gold Pants. Our ballot moved Stanford and Notre Dame a combined 31 spots following their big wins, and also stuck it to the Big XII, dropping Oklahoma, Kansas State, TCU, and Baylor, who all won last week. Didn't realize we did that, and don't regret it for a second. You can check out the rest of the award-winning blogs HERE, and check out the full BlogPoll after the jump.
