I'll be on Hawaii's Big Island this October, curious if anyone has advice on decent bars for catching the Ducks. Obviously places with fellow Oregon fans are a plus, but not a requirement by any means (though I wonder if there'll be more incidental UO interest than usual with MM's success). Good atmosphere, decent food & drink, etc...
Will be staying in both the Hilo/Puna areas and Kona, and it'd be nice to avoid egregious tourist traps (not something I'm too worried about windward, but Kona side for sure). Any suggestions?
