Some Numbers to Consider

Through six games last season, we had scored a total of 314 points, compared to the opposition scoring 120.

This season, through six games, we have scored 341 points, compared to the opposition scoring 83. We are also averaging over 4 ppg this year as opposed to last year, which screams consistency and hints at improvement at the same time.

That's pretty huge, IMHO.

We had a lot of high scoring affairs last year. Granted, we skunked Zona 49-0, but Ark State put 34 on the board, Fresno State dropped 25. Personally, I don't think that happens with this year's team, though I can't really put my finger on why. We lost Kiko, we lost Jordan, and yet, our defense seems much more solid than it should this year.

Side note: Washington was our 6th game of the year this season. They were also the 6th game of the season last year.
