Dan Altman and EJ Singler win honors, the Ducks look to still be in the NCAA tournament, and is it possible for no one to win the Pac-12 tournament?
- Dana Altman was named Pac-12 coach of the year and EJ Singler made first team All Pac-12. Were most of the votes cast before the final weekend? I know it's coach of the year, but the collapse in the final weekend would have had me scrambling to find anyone else worthy of the title. Reminds me of Mike Riley getting coach of the year honors in 2008, despite crapping the bed in the biggest game of his coaching career (by the way, Jeremiah Johnson just scored another touchdown). Luckily, Altman has at least one more game to show the honor was deserved.
- There is a lot of talk about Oregon's NCAA chances. While Lundari has them in, Coug Center (with their handy-dandy formula) has the Ducks in the Next Four Out group.
- Who is the favorite to win the Pac-12 tournament? Not much of a consensus between the Pac-12 bloggers.
- The track & field team had to wait a bit to celebrate their title. Travel problems led to many Ducks stuck in Texas on Sunday night. Yikes.
Finally, the best obituary ever (h/t Warming Glow). GO DUCKS!
