All Time Oregon Football Uniform Bracket: GREEN REGIONAL, Game 2

Disclaimer: This is intended to be the most scientifically rigorous endeavor ever undertaken in the history of Uniformology. GREEN REGIONAL, Game 2: (8) 2013 Ow, My Eyes vs. (9) Slippery When Wet

(8) 2013 Ow, My Eyes

2013 Ow, My Eyes

Time: November 29, 2013.

Result: Oregon 36, Oregon State 35.

Laundry: This matchup just goes to show you what a bloodbath the Green Regional is going to be. It hurts me to seed this uniform 8th. Very similar sets got seeded much more favorably. I love the way the green and the yellow pop one another out like mad. I can quibble with the shoes, they do make this one lower my seizure threshold just a tad. Add in the highway-maintenance orange things the Beavs wore that day, and Sacred Heart must have had an ER full of new-onset epilepsy crowding their waiting room.

VERSUS

(9) 2013 Slippery When Wet

2013 Slippery When Wet

Time: September 28, 2013.

Result: Oregon 55, Cal 18, Zack Kline Turnover Experience 0.

Laundry: These are incredibly close to the 2012 Rose Bowl set. Something something not liquid metal means they're a 9 seed. (I do like the yellow numbers, though.) Plus I still get nightmares of De'Anthony Thomas' ankle rolling over in the first quarter, and he was never quite the same for us thereafter. What a miserable freaking game that was. The dark green was almost black by game's end. Oh, and don't forget, AUTZEN SELLOUT STREAK REAMINED INTACT after this one. The stands really weren't half empty due to the torrential downpour that made a liar out of poor old Don Essig.
