Two weeks from today, Texas A&M and South Carolina will officially kick off the 2014 season on college football's first Thursday night. Two days later, Oregon will play their season opener. The warm summer days will slowly fade to crisp Autumn nights. Leaves will fall. Touchdowns will be scored. Oregon will beat Washington. And all will be right with the world. Enjoy summer's last hurrah--happiness will be here soon enough.
Practice Highlights (From Moseley's report):
- The Ducks had one session Wednesday, rather than the usual two, to give the players a rest after Tuesday's full-contact scrimmage.
- Royce Freeman and Dwayne Stanford made plays. Lather, rinse, repeat, as it seems like these two are mentioned every day.
- Ayele Forde was spending a ton of time with the receivers, while Jake Fisher was seeing some run at left tackle.
- Ian Wheeler was taking the first string reps at punter, spending some time chatting with former UO punter Josh Bidwell.
