- The Ducks have made the top five list of 5-star LB Nate McBride. Alabama, Oregon, Auburn and Stanford rounded out the list.
- ESPN has created an odd ranking of sorts for Pac-12 defenses, with Oregon coming in at No. 11. The ranking is basically picking the best player from each unit on a team (linebackers, defensive line, and secondary) and then ranking those groups against each other. The Ducks selected were Henry Mondeaux, Johnny Ragin III and Tyree Robinson.
- Sulman Raza continues his post-collegiate success, winning the stroke-play title at Oregon Amateur in a playoff. Raza shot a 3-under 69 final round to beat Kevin Murphy.
