I'm heading to some Friday Night Football tonight to watch my brother (Go Century Jags!) and leaving early for a game BBQ tomorrow, so you get the game thread early. Ducks Grid Iron Report On KXL

...was very encouraging. They thought the local fan base was very down on the Wolverines judging from local talk radio in Detroit/Ann Arbor. Also, they apparently feel the first quarter of the game will determine the way of things for the rest of their woebegone season. Their defense was awful enough last week that the offense could feel very pressured to score on each possession possibly leading to turnovers and then shattered confidence type issues. And, if the fans don't fill the stands(and theirs is a very big house) and if perhaps the turn on their team the way they did on the radio, it could turn out quackin' for the ducks. This could be the biggest head game of the season. It'll be a long night 'til game time!

Weather

No idea what the weather is in Ann Arbor right now, but the Bowling Green radio guys were saying how perfect the weather in East Lansing is for football.

UofM and MSU are about an hour from each other, so I assume this bodes well for a nice day.
