According to KMTR, Bev Smith was hired as the new Executive Director of Kidsports. A formal announcement is scheduled for Tuesday. Although Smith didn't have the most success on the bench for the Oregon Women's Basketball Team, I'm happy she found the calling to stay in Eugene and help out the local community.

The Lady Ducks shot 30% from the field (sound familiar?) and were bounced from the Pac-10 Tournament by last place Washington. The Huskies are the first 10 seed to win a game in the Pac-10 Tournament. As for Bev Smith, this is not the way she wanted to go out this season.
