Cal volleyball, the top-ranked team in the country, was swept by 12th-ranked USC in straight sets. The Golden Bears are without outside/opposite hitter Adrienne Gehan for six to eight weeks.

The California Golden Bears women's volleyball team behind Correy Johnson, Adrienne Gehan, Kat Brown, Tarah Murrey and Shannon Hawari managed a tough sweep of the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the Sweet 16 of the 2010 NCAA Tournament. They advance to their fourth straight regional final.

The third ranked California Golden Bears women's volleyball team kept the best start and best ranking in the program's history by sweeping the Oregon State Beavers. Carli Lloyd led the way with six kills and 34 assists, and Shannon Hawari, Correy Johnson and Kat Brown all helped out the struggling Tarrah Murrey.
