After nearly a week of speculation, the Big XII's manifest destiny is the Pac-10, according to ESPN.com's Ted Miller. Citing multiple anonymous sources, Miller reports Colorado has already received an invitation to join the Pac-10, while the other five oft-rumored schools (Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State) are expected to be invited as well. The Big XII, as we know it, is all but defunct.
