As many of you who were with me last year know, I coach JV basketball at a high school in the greater Portland area. The season starts next week.
Why am I telling you this?
You could see some changes with the blog. I hope that they are minor. But it may mean that I go a day without posting. Or that I don't get to watch a game live and have to wait a couple of days to recap (usually only a problem with basketball). Bear with me on this. But my priorities have to be in this order:
- My Family
- My Team
I will still do my best to post every day, but that can get hard on gamedays. Nick will help out when he can. And I'm not oppossed to bringing on one more person if that be necessary.
There are a lot of things that you can do to help as well.
The community we have built here is excellent. Much of the very best content on this blog has come from the diaries and comments. These tools can keep great conversation going even if I'm not able to post on a given day.
Look on the bright side, as a basketball coach, I feel that my hoops analysis is way better than my football analysis.
Just wanted to let you know what's going on, in case you notice changes.
